Keystone Indoor Electric Fly
Thank you for attending and we wish everyone a great time! If your have any questions or
needs, please see members of the event staff.
Our goal is to maximize the flight time and enjoyment for all pilots. Even though this dome is
huge, airspace is limited and certain flight patterns are required to eliminate the potential for
mid-airs. We will be using three distinctive areas for general flying. The right two thirds of the
dome will be used for racetrack left hand pattern. A portion of this area against the wall will be
reserved for Micro Aircraft. The remaining third to the left used lengthwise will be reserved for
3D flying only. If aggressive aerobatics are your thing, please use the 3D area.
Pilot stations are designated by the black mats or orange cones - please use the pilots stations.
An event schedule has been given to each pilot along with this letter at registration. Our plan is
to reserve several segments during the day; light scale and micro aircraft (stick and tissue), jet
aircraft and mini helis will have dedicated segments, If you have models of this type, please see
the CD so we can activate these sessions. We are also going to reserve a 60 minute session at
noon for our fine sponsors to demonstrate their latest products
Frequencies will be controlled via the pin system. Pilots will be issued a pin for each transmitter.
Before flying, take your transmitter pin to the frequency control officer and he will issue the
frequency pin. PLEASE, DO NOT TURN YOUR TRANSMITTER ON UNTIL YOU HAVE THE
FREQUENCY Control PIN IN YOUR POSSESSION FIFTEEN MINUTES
no pilot is waiting, you are welcome to use the pin as long as you like. Check with frequency
control every fifteen minutes; we want everyone to get in as many flights as possible.
Safe flying is no accident! It is the responsibility of all to be sure that we do not injure anyone,
or damage the dome. Reckless flying will not be tolerated! Indoor flying is probably a new
experience for some and we will do all in our power to maintain safety. We must keep all
aircraft in their designated flight areas. Fire proof containers are required for
Lithium battery charging.
Absolutely no overnight charging of batteries will be permitted in the dome.
Our sponsors have been extremely generous and many pilot prizes will be awarded during the
weekend. Listen for your name to be called to claim your prize! A list of sponsors has been
given to each pilot. Please consider purchasing or using their products. Without them, we
would not be here today.
Have a safe and fun event!
